At Banner Studios, we like to think we’re the adventurous type. Trying new things not only keeps us young at heart, but it keeps our clients happy.

With that in mind, we pitched the venerable Chicago Bears a slightly new take on their Hit the Field intro videos. Through the power of a gigantic LED backdrop, the Unreal Engine and moxie, we brought the production magic of some of Hollywood’s biggest shows — see Disney+’s The Mandalorian — to the Bears’ practice facility in Lake Forest.

Players are seen on a virtual set built from the ground up in 3D land (with the help of Razmus Media and Vū) that responds in real-time to the camera with realistic parallax and moveable objects.

The result is an impressive mix of technology and good ol’ Banner know-how.
